Product Manager

I build and ship product in healthcare, insurance, and banking.

Seven years building and leading product for regulated SaaS across healthcare, insurance, and banking. I work out what the real problem is, decide what to build first, and get it shipped with engineering, design, and compliance in the room, then watch how it performs and keep refining it. The work below moved real numbers, and I can walk you through the decisions behind each one.

Strategy

Not just shipping. Setting direction.

Execution is above. This is how I think a few steps out: a working product strategy for the enrollment platform I own, with a North Star, a metric tree, a prioritized set of bets, and the things I would deliberately not build.

Product strategyHealthcare

Getting every provider enrolled right the first time

The one metric the whole strategy is built to move.

How I work

How I work

A few things I do on every product. Each one shows up in the work above.

Start with the real problem

I figure out where users actually get stuck before building anything, so the fix addresses the cause and not the symptom.

In · enrollment drop-off, claims bottleneck

Prioritize with data

I sequence the roadmap by what moves the result, like the most common questions or the biggest bottleneck, rather than by whoever asks loudest.

In · 500+ questions, 40% throughput

Ship inside the rules

I deliver under real regulation, from CMS to P&C insurance to banking, without letting compliance become an excuse for a poor experience.

In · Medicaid, claims, mobile banking

Run the room

I keep engineering, QA, design, compliance, and outside stakeholders aligned on priorities and on what has to be true before release.

In · multi-state Agile and Waterfall

Keep going after launch

Shipping is the start. I read the data that comes back and adjust, which is how the assistant's satisfaction climbed past 80%.

In · post-launch feedback loop

Build AI products with judgment

I've shipped a conversational AI product end to end, and I think about it in practical terms: coverage, resolution, and integration, not hype.

About

Seyi Onabanjo

I'm a product manager, and I gravitate toward hard problems in regulated industries. These are the products where a wrong decision has compliance consequences and thousands of real people are affected.

Across healthcare, insurance, finance, and banking, I've owned product vision, roadmaps, and delivery. Most of my work comes down to turning complicated regulatory and business requirements into features that ship and measurably improve things like processing time, satisfaction, conversion, and cost.

I came up close to the data and the workflows, which is part of why I'm quick to spot where a product breaks. I'm most useful on products where discovery, prioritization, and stakeholder management all have to happen at the same time, under real constraints.
